Scuba Diving Instructor

When I was 2 years old my Grand Father (Andre Deutsch) used to take me along the shores of the east coast of France for some net fishing in the tide pools. The cool thing about tide pools is that they trap little shrimps, crabs and other fish in them for 6 hours while the tide is out. During this time they make easy pickings for small curious children. Anyway, I had cought a little shrimp in the net and my grand father picked it out of the net and put it in my hand. I was absolutley blown away by how different and cool the little shrimp was. I had never seen anything like it before and my fascination with the ocean was sealed and locked at that point.

Ever since that day i have been obsessed with the ocean and water dwelling creatures. I am usually depressed if I am not wet or at the aquarium.

For my 16th birthday I asked my parents for only one thing. When everyone else was askign for and getting a car, I wanted to get certified as a Scuba Diver. It was and remains the bext birthday present I have ever recieved.

My very first dive was unforgettable! We dived off a boat 5 miles off the shore of Miami Beach.
