Online Marketing

I have been an online marketing professional since late 1999. In October of 1999 I started reading up on this phenomenon called "The Internet". It was this really cool thing that allow you publish information, images and even video on to servers that everyone could access! All you had to do was buy a domain name and start uploading your content to the "World Wide Web".

I realised quicky that it was very easy to upload this content using HTML. I tested my skills in every aspect of the web and learned about all the various uses that the internet offered. I dipped my brain in to all kinds of things like: Mobile web sites, forums, ecommerce sites, search engines and much more. But you can only get so far on your own steam.

I applied for and got accepted in to 3 internships over the next 9 months while working a full time night job. That is where my career started to really take shape. I found out that I had very poor talent in some areas of the web and VERY strong talent in others:

Usability
Online Advertising

And then I hit my BIG BREAK!
